BRAC, a non-governmental development organization, has issued a job posting for the position of Senior Officer, Monitoring and Evaluation, Integrated Development Programme (IDP).

The IDP works to ensure access to critical services for people living in hard-to-reach regions such as haors, chars, and indigenous communities across Bangladesh. Responsibilities:

As a Senior Officer, Monitoring and Evaluation, you will be responsible for monitoring data collection, data entry, specific incident investigation, and PowerPoint preparation.

You will assist in identifying monitoring issues, and develop questionnaires, and monitoring tools for data collection and questionnaire testing in the field.

You will also prepare MIS reports for the assigned Upazila’s, develop M&E tools, checklists, and guidelines, and provide analytical findings and recommendations based on monthly regular monitoring health, WASH, livelihood, and UPG.

Additionally, you will share field findings and observations based on field visits to branch offices and communities, attend monthly progress review meetings, and coordinate with the IDP HO M&E team for regular project updates and strategic M&E support.

You will prepare reports on specific incident investigations, monitoring data entry, fact finding, and the conduction of focused group discussions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role should have a Master’s degree in any discipline, preferably Social Science, Social Work, Social welfare, Sociology, Anthropology, Economics, or Statistics.

They should have a minimum of two years of working experience in the relevant field and possess knowledge of data collection, data entry, report preparation, monitoring, and investigation.

Candidates should also have knowledge of different development issues in Bangladesh, with a particular focus on education, health, water sanitation, livelihood, and microfinance program, among others.

Applicants should be skilled in MS Office (Word and Excel), Access, and SPSS.
